Mr. Fox has been affiliated with Wolf & Fox since 1992. His legal work encompasses business and commercial law, gaming law, defense litigation, employment law, and all aspects of divorce and family law.
Mr. Fox places an emphasis on regularly consulting and counseling with employers and businesses in an effort to prevent claims from arising, including providing training to management to ensure the appropriate application of company policies and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including all employment laws.
Mr. Fox's practice provides comprehensive business law guidance to business start-ups as well as established businesses, by providing sound legal representation from business formation; buy-sell agreements; contract review, drafting and negotiation; and all aspects of human resources and employee related claims and issues. New companies appreciate Mr. Fox's business expertise, while established companies value his practical and bottom line strategic approach. To assist business clients in having access to affordable legal counsel, Mr. Fox implemented a special retainer program that gives business clients unlimited access to a lawyer for a single monthly cost. Through the General Counsel on Demand program, talented and experienced business attorneys are available whenever you need it.
Mr. Fox also heads the Employment, Labor, and Benefits Practice Group at Wolf & Fox which offers a full suite of integrated services required by management in the workplace. The lawyers focus on problem prevention, proactive counseling, and helping businesses comply with federal, state and local laws that affect employee relations - with the goal of meeting operational needs and reducing the risk of costly litigation. When internal complaints arise, Wolf & Fox assists clients with confidential internal investigations. If employment related claims are filed, Wolf & Fox is fully capable of handling the defense of the employment litigation through the EEOC or in court.
The Wolf & Fox Employment Law Institute is also a part of the Employment, Labor, and Benefits Practice Group headed by Mr. Fox. This program is designed to inform and engage business leadership with high quality education and training in the area of employment law and human resources. Depending on the client's needs, the training can be provided to all employees or focused on those individuals within the management and leadership team. Programs focus on all aspects of legal issues facing employees, human resources professionals, benefits administrators, in-house counsel and other senior managers.
Mr. Fox also devotes a substantial amount of time attempting to resolve legal disputes without the need for lengthy and expense litigation. With that in mind, Mr. Fox developed and launched the Mediation and Settlement Facilitation Program within Wolf & Fox. That program is designed to minimize the expense and stress perpetuated by ongoing litigation by assisting lawyers and parties in resolving pending legal disputes.
In addition, Mr. Fox continues to provide sound legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of family law including divorce, paternity, custody, timesharing and visitation, child support, property and debt division, alimony and spousal support, and adoption, just to name a few. Whether the client lives in New Mexico or elsewhere in the country, Mr. Fox can establish an enforceable custody and timesharing schedule for children who reside in New Mexico. He can also ensure that child support is properly calculated and help with collecting payments. Through paternity cases, Mr. Fox helps fathers make legal connections with their biological children and assists mothers with collecting child support from absent fathers. He also has the experience to maximize the amount and duration of spousal support for the spouse receiving support or to reduce the liability and exposure of the person paying.
