During her time in law school, Ms. Lopez focused her legal education on family law and domestic violence by assisting victims of domestic violence navigate the legal system and by working with a variety of entities, including CASA, Pegasus Legal Services for Children, Law Office of the Public Defender Juvenile Division, and the Department of Justice. Ms. Lopez joined Wolf & Fox, P.C. in 2015 and practices all aspects of family law, child support, custody, visitation and adoption. Ms. Lopez is well trained in these areas of law and passionate about the representation of her clients. Ms. Lopez emphasizes the need to treat her clients with the utmost compassion while at the same time taking the right steps to get matters resolved quickly and corectly. She believes in giving her clients support and guidance every step of the way.

Ms. Lopez understands that what happens in her clients' divorce will impact her clients and their families in the future. As a result, Ms. Lopez is dedicated to developing custody and timesharing arrangements that are not only workable for the parties, but are in the best interests of the children. Ms. Lopez also ensures that.all community property and debts are disclosed, that assets are property valued, and the division of community property, debts, real estate and business ownerships are fair and best for her clients. She is skilled in both pursuing and defending against claims for spousal support and in ensuring that the proper amount of child support is calculated.

Ms. Lopez also helps clients all over New Mexico establish permanent parent-child relationships by representing them through the adoption process.

Ms. Lopez also has extensive experience representing lenders in the mortgage industry, using her expertise to guide them through the complex regulatory landscape of the financial world. Ms. Lopez also effectively uses her outstanding research skills to quickly ensure clients are provided with a timely and accurate response to any inquiries as they arise.

In addition to being licensed to practice law before the Courts within the State of New Mexico, Ms. Lopez is also a member of the Navajo Nation Bar where she assists litigants in the Navajo Nation Tribal Court in a wide variety of legal disputes.
