About

Jessica M. Hess was born and raised in Northern New Mexico and is bilingual, with Spanish as her second language. Jessica’s main areas of practice include domestic relations law, children's law, and criminal defense. Her domestic relations practice is extensive, covering divorce, legal separation, child support, paternity, spousal support and alimony, post-decree enforcement proceedings, qualified domestic relations orders, kinship guardianships, child custody and visitation, interstate custody disputes, domestic violence restraining orders, adoptions, and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Jessica also heads Wolf & Fox's criminal defense division where she ensures the protection of the rights of people facing felony and misdemeanor criminal charges throughout New Mexico including DWI/DUI and drug related charges. Jessica is committed to minimizing the impact that an arrest, criminal charge, and potential conviction can have on a client's life, future, and freedom.

Jessica is routinely appointed by the Court to serve as a Settlement Facilitator as part of the Second Judicial District Court’s Year-Round Settlement Facilitation Program. She also volunteers as a Mentor for the Children’s Court Adult/Youth Mentor Program.

Jessica is a member in good-standing of the Albuquerque Bar Association, the National Hispanic Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, as well as the Bar Association of the United States District Court.
